I'm Marie-Claire, I arrived in Wellington from the UK (not London!!) in 2001 and haven't left. Except for one fleeting trip back to Europe which work paid for, and a few to Aussie which work paid for, oh and one to Vanuatu which is where this whole living on a boat thing came from.
I live on a 60ft fishing trawler in Wellington, Lee and I are converting it to be a floating gin-palace. It should take about 3 years we hope. Then we might be posh enough to be allowed into Chaffers but might not bother and go directly to the WhitSundays and onto the Islands.
I have had the privelege of working in lots of organisations since I've been here - Victoria Uni, Statistics NZ, i-lign, Investment NZ and Positively Wellington Business. I'm now in business for myself!! Vault Consulting is born on Monday 1 October.
I love meeting people and connecting them, problem solving, business planning, seeing the wood for the trees, strategising, creating new paths to get stuff done, getting stuff done and going flying with Lee in small planes.
